If you are looking for a unique element to add to your wedding rings that symbolize your love and devotion to one another, but you also want to express your love for the Earth, you should consider allowing wood inlay to convey the message for you! Pure wood rings are not durable enough and often will need to be replaced. For that reason our rings are made with wood inlay. They provide a warm earthy design with the durability of alternative metals such as - tungsten, titanium & ceramic.
While we have very attractive cobalt chrome, black ceramic and tungsten rings, many people today are seeking pieces that are more natural. They want bands that can show their love and commitment to one another as their devotion to the Earth and all that it has to offer. We have looked all over the planet for some of the strongest and most beautiful wood to use when making our inlay rings; something that would be quite fitting to the occasion. After doing countless hours of research, our designers decided that they wanted to use wood that symbolizes everything it takes to build a solid marriage and the qualities needed to be a great partner to someone else. This was a very slow and arduous process. With all of this in mind, we have decided to use rosewood and black walnut for the inlays.
Both of these choices are generally seen as symbols of growth, nurturing, healing, focus and introspection. There is no way that a marriage will be successful if all of these components are not present, which is why we felt that these ideals should be showcased in the making of our wedding bands. These woods are well known for their ability to represent strength, durability and beauty. Both of these wood types are fairly dark in tone; the rosewood leans toward the red side of the color spectrum while the black walnut somewhere between brown and black. These colors can provide a welcoming contrast to tungsten and white tungsten bands, and they can provide more depth to black ceramic and black tungsten bands.
